Positive: The breakfast was fine, considering that the kitchen was being renovated! The food was good and the staff was pleasant to talk with. Everyone had made the best of a difficult situation.

Positive: The staff was friendly and helpful in working around construction. I was grateful they were thoughtful and had rooms at the end of the hallway. I can see the building and amenities will be great when done. Montrose was a nice town with nice people, we used Montrose as our base for a Black Canyon NP visit. Would stay again if we return.

Positive: Breakfast was very good. Jamie did a fantastic job keeping the food warm and on hand. VERY nice person! Tay at the front desk was very nice and pleasurable. All staff were very helpful.
Negative: I had asked for a handicapped room. There wasn't a safety bar in the shower or by the toilet. Because I have mobility issues and have to ride a scooter to and from the car and to my room.....I didn't feel safe. When sitting down past a certain height I cannot get up and will fall.
Summary: I enjoyed the location immensely, even though they were doing a remodel. It looked fantastic.
