Positive: Daily cleaning, across the road there is a large market where you can buy groceries, good soundproofing, the hotel is located near the highway but there was no noise at all, good breakfasts
Negative: There was no refrigerator. And this is in such a hot country as Mexico. I bought some fruit in the market across the street, there was no way to cut it, I asked the bar for a plate and knife, but they said there weren't any
Summary: Small refrigerators in the rooms and dishes are a must

Positive: I was upgraded to a room at the neighboring Holiday Inn & Suites Puerto Vallarta Marina & Golf down the street which included a complimentary breakfast. The breakfast buffet offered nice variety local and western options along with a made to order egg cooking station. Overall the meal was and thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were all very nice and professional. Most importantly, the room was well kept, very clean and the wonderful bedding made for an exceptionally comfortable nights rest before my morning flight. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, next time I'm passing through Puerto Vallarta.
Negative: Although the view from the 8th floor overlooking the airport and mountains in the distance in the north was expansive, the property next door is basically a demo site and not very attractive. This is not Holiday Inn's fault and is a relatively minor nitpick, but still notable.
