Summary: Very convenient as walking distance to Marina, and very good shuttle to the airport. Sun Deck and pool were nice but as it was Holy week the pool was filled with kids all day and night. Might be an idea to have an adult time maybe late afternoon or evening. Also had an excellent breakfast bar.

Summary: I got a surprise upgrade from Holiday Inn Express to Holiday Inn and Suites, I was very pleased. Service was extraordinary. Free breakfast and airport shuttle was awesome. Very friendly staff throughout. Definitely 5 star rating.

Summary: We actually did not stay at the Express. Arrived and were told we had been upgraded to their sister hotel Holiday Inn Suites Puerto Vallarta. They sent a shuttle for us and soon we had a wonderful 9th floor room. Overlooking all if the Banderas Bay.
