Summary: OK. Decent location with easy access to the marina, Tin City, 5th avenue and the beaches. The fold-out sofa bed was awful, with a twisted mechanism and huge dips in it. One of the kids found it so uncomfortable that they preferred to sleep on the floor. Breakfast was OK. Food was basic but fine, badly compromised by cheap disposable paper plates and awful weak plastic cutlery.

Summary: Staff were extremely helpful, good facilities and good location. Breakfast adequate and parking was provided. Room was tired, and there was a smell of dampness. Carpet was damp next to wardrobes. Noisy AC. On the whole, reasonable value for the money.

Summary: I booked this hotel because it was fairly close (1 mile) to downtown Naples and because of it's price. Honestly, my expectations weren't too high - it's just a Holiday Inn Express. I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel, however. It had a very nice pool/hot tub and tiki bar area. Best of all, the room was new, well kept, and had a ton of countertop space for all our stuff. The breakfast was also good. I would definitely stay there again. By the way, downtown Naples has a free parking garage - plenty of parking unless you get there after about 6 PM.

Summary: The Holiday Inn Express was a decent hotel experience. The staff was always very nice and helpful - they were a definite plus. The breakfast was good - they provided a good variety - everyone seemed happy. Parking was good - not great. The hotels nearby weren’t as nice - there isn’t anything Holiday Inn could do about that, of course - so we preferred parking directly in front of the hotel, where the lot was well-lit and appeared to be monitored. That wasn’t always possible…so we were uncomfortable parking our car in the rear of the hotel some nights. Finally - I understand that we were in Naples…and on an extension of 5th Avenue…but the hotel felt overpriced for the experience. I want to be clear - it was a nice stay…and we would return…but it was expensive. There were 2BR 2BA VRBO properties nearby - we would probably give those a try next time…they were slightly less expensive. But thank you for the experience.
