Zuid42 is a cozy and bright cottage with three floors (140 m2) situated in a quiet street in 't Zuid in Antwerp. The Southern district forms the southern part of Antwerp's city center and is a bustling, trendy area with many museums, restaurants of all types and sizes, terraces and nice shops.
Rental Zuid42 is, except the basement, fully equipped as a holiday home. The interior is comfortable and practical with comfortable beds and nice details.
Behind the door is a spacious hall with coat hangers, a cupboard for shoes and bags and plenty of space for storing for example a pram. The living space on the ground floor is furnished with a large sofa and a round dining table. On request, can be put down a chair and toys.
The ground floor also includes a fully equipped kitchen with a Nespresso coffee machine with milk frother, electric kettle, toaster, microwave, oven and stove. There is a toilet and a small outdoor area.
From the hall a staircase leads to the first floor with a bedroom and a sitting room / bedroom adjacent. In the cozy bedroom is a large double bed (180x200) with electrically adjustable bed frames.
The living room on the first floor is furnished with a large sofa (bed) and a comfortable armchair. Also here is a television which can be incorporated as desired TV programs for later viewing. If 6 people stay in this room Zuid42 is a full bedroom with a bed of 160x200. By closing a curtain the sleeping area is separated from the passage to the second floor.
On the second and top floor is the master bedroom with a large double divan (200x200cm). If desired, the bed can be made up as two single time. The spacious bathroom with shower is located on this floor.

Summary: Fantastic home in Antwerpen Zuid, just steps from the Museum, many bars and restaurants. It was close to a tram stop and had a lot of options for Velo bike share so we could get everywhere in Antwerp very quickly. The home was clean and had everything you could ask for. The beds were comfortable. I will certainly be looking to see if this property is available on my next trip to Antwerp!

Summary: We are so glad that we found Pauline's place for our trip to Belgium. My husband is originally from Antwerp and I had lived in the Zuid neighborhood for 3 years when I was located here for work. We've always looked for a place nearby our old apartment, but to no avail. this time though, we found this perfect place for us! There was plenty of space for our family to spread out, parking on the street was relatively easy (though has gotten more expensive since we lived there), and the neighborhood is the best in Antwerp - you're close to major bars and restaurants, can easily walk to the city center or to the waterfront. Plus you're just a few short minutes to the highway (the Ring) to get to other destinations. We will certainly be back!

Summary: We had a weekend in this house and without exaggerating it was great. We, our kids and us, loved the stay. The games and puzzles which were provided as well the warm welcome made the stay warm and great. The location is super for a walk to the Scheide or to the city. Close to the host there are great restaurants and also a few supermarkets. The hosts are very kind and helpful. Thanks Pauline and Pieter! We'll enjoy it and will come back!

Summary: Very nice three story apartment with enough space for a small to mid-size family. The downstairs kitchen area is relatively small, but very well equipped with all the necessities. The location is superb in the hearth of Antwerpen Zuid within walking distance to numerous restaurants, bars, and shopping. There is a nearby tram line that will bring you to the center of Antwerp (Groenpllats), although you can also walk which will take you about 20-30 minutes to the Cathedral. The owner Pauling is very responsive and friendly, ready to answer all your questions. I have enjoyed staying here with my family and will definitively rent this place again for my next trip to Belgium.

Summary: Having never been to Antwerp, we did not realise what a perfect location this is. There is a plaza with monument and multiple sidewalk cafes within two blocks. The townhouse is a very old building that has been tastefully modernized. Living spaces are on three floors. It is quite spacious. Watch your head on that first landing. . . I bumped my head twice. Pauline is an excellent host. we only wish we could have stayed longer.

Summary: We loved everything about Pauline and her house! It was immaculate and had all that we needed. Convenient to everything. We ran late and she was very flexible with us. There were 4 keys, enabling us to all split up and do our own things. No one was checking in after us the next day and she was kind enough be flexible on when we left, which was super helpful! She is easily the nicest property owner I have ever met, and Antwerp is wonderful!
