Enjoy the peaceful getaway for two in the Historic town of Onancock, VA. The Suite at Holly Cove is a quaint waterfront escape for two! Rest and relax while enjoying the magnificent waterfront views of Onancock Creek that leads out to the Chesapeake Bay. Our sunsets at Holly Cove are phenomenal and you won’t want to miss the prettiest part of the day. The Suite includes 1 queen bed, 1 bathroom, screened in porch, refrigerator , microwave, coffee maker, private entrance, shared dock and brick patio. Our dock may be used for fishing, swimming, and kayaks. We recommend wearing water shoes for your protection in the water. We are a short 5 minute drive to downtown Onancock where there is casual and fine dining options, theater, shops, boat tours and antique shopping.

Summary: Owners were extremely friendly, the location and view is just outstanding. Room was very clean with that water front charm. You can’t go wrong with selecting this rental.

Summary: This is an incredible property with lovely sunset views and close proximity to water. Communications with the owner were easy, cordial and helpful. The owner made check-in and orientation to the property and the area a pleasure. The property also is close to town and good restaurants and night life. The only downside for our visit was that, as dog people, the fact that this is (or was) a cat property was evident, yet also manageable. Overall this is a wonderful property and owner.

Summary: The owners perhaps undersell the suite. They provide towels AND sheets. I didn’t read very carefully so was surprised when there wasn’t a kitchen. We sometimes like to cook in. But Martha helped us out with some paper plates and plastic wear so we snacked at lunch and ate out in the evening.

Summary: This is a beautiful property with amazing views and cozy accommodations! Highly recommend for anyone looking to escape busy city life and enjoy just relaxing and looking at the water and the stars at night. Close to town to enjoy waterfront dining and live entertainment also.

Summary: We loved our stay in Holly Cove suite. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming but we still felt like we were in a private getaway. Watching the sunsets from the dock was lovely, and our private screened porch was perfect for reading books, drinking coffee or playing games. I would only mention that the room lists a TV as an amenity and there is not one in the room, but that was actually a plus for us since we prefer our time spent in other ways. Onanacock is less than ten minutes away and has great restaurants, coffee shops/bakeries, and Saturday morning (in the summer) we visited a little farmers market as well. Overall, it was a fabulous weekend!
