Summary: This is really a special place with attentive proprietors. Our suite (#2, the Sister’s Suite) was huge, with bedroom, living room, kitchen, and a little balcony and we especially appreciated the supplied coffee for mornings. Ending each day in the garden was an added treat, as was Holman’s delicious ice cream (their Vanilla Surprise tastes like my homemade, egg-yolk-based recipe). The on-delivery hot water system was a little wonky during the hours when the shop was opening/closing, but we loved this place and we’d definitely stay again.

Summary: Ellen’s Garden suite was adequate for our length of stay, the location was convenient for our travel plans. We found the suite to be quite noisy especially at closing time as the ice parlour was right below us. The amenities in the suite could use some improvement especially for cooking. We found the property and location very interesting given the history of Summerside. Our host. Daniel, was very friendly and helpful!

Summary: Check in was easy, the room was clean and spacious yet cozy. Coffee and tea were provided. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had good water pressure.

Summary: Suite was clean, cozy and comfortable, original home touches with modern conveniences. Owners and staff were very helpful and courteous. Was very walkable and we enjoyed the outside garden and family ambience of the ice cream parlor.
