Summary: Wonderful, quaint house with all of its wonderful quirks. More than enough space for me and my work associates to be able to spread out and accomplish our work after long days in the field.

Summary: This is our second time staying here at this property while our families go skiing at Winterplace. Its a perfect location that is convenient to the slopes and restaurants. We will be back again thanks to this great home and host.

Summary: Our group of 5 adults really enjoyed our stay. Centrally located for the sites we wanted to see, restaurants, convenience store, gas, all right there. The 5th bedroom advertised only had a crib but we made due. 3 story house, plenty of stairs obviously, railings could use some tlc but that's about it. Property was spotless and comfortable; our group would definitely stay here again.

Summary: Such a cool old house with PLENTY of towels, room and space to enjoy. The kitchen was well equipped (better than most I've been to), and there were so many towels! Fun games for my kids and books to read too. Plus didn't have a lot of breakables, which made it really easy to let them play and not worry. Thank you!

Summary: This house worked very well for a 3-generation trip to the New River Gorge. The house was clean and easy to access and just a stone's throw from Beckley. We enjoyed a day rafting on the lower gorge, a visit to Little Beaver State Park to hike with the dogs, and canoeing on the middle gorge. We went across the street to the country store and enjoyed their produce. The house is really interesting and MUCH bigger than it looks from the outside. Beautiful hardwood floors and spacious rooms. This is a great deal for a family if you're visiting the New River Gorge.

Summary: We loved staying here, there was so much room for everyone to spread out. The only issue we had was from a nearby business being loud and rowdy.

Summary: We are a family of five plus a dog and have a lot of different interests. We spent time at Winterplace, Lewisburg, and The Greenbrier Resort. The house was perfectly situated for everything we wanted to do. We appreciated the fenced in front yard for our dog. It is on a busy street in between a gas station and an auto mechanic. That was not a problem for us at all. The house had everything that we needed to fix meals etc. We used it as a landing pad for all of our activities. It's on the same road as Winterplace and very close to both 77 and 64. We had also considered going to Fayetteville but ran out of time. The owner was very responsive and answered every question we had very quickly. No issues at all! ❤️ The house is also very close to a lot of restaurants ranging from fancy to fast food and everything in between. We will definitely stay again!
