Positive: The place was very clean, cozy, and felt just like home. Suren was an amazing host, he warmly welcomed me, offered me coffee and snacks, and genuinely made sure we were comfortable during our entire stay. His hospitality and kindness truly stood out. You can tell he really cares about his guests. Everything from the peaceful atmosphere to the little details made this stay special.
Negative: There was absolutely nothing I didn’t like. Everything was perfect.

Positive: + Home away from home is seriously not only the slogan- he makes it up to it! We arrived i the middle of the night because of flight delay and were so warmly welcomed that we couldnt believe it! Its a nice and quiet place eventhough everything important (beach, supermarket and restaurant) are 5-10minutes walking distance. The host is such a fantastic and friendly person with so much knowledge and passion for his country: something he also likes to share. Which for us, just arrived in a new country after 10month Indonesia, was really helpful. The food we got is amongst the best we had on our journey and as such already worth booking at Erskines Place. Yeah- this text sounds like paid post- but no, we stayed here 4nights, and will surely visit again once back in Colombo. Perfect place for travellers, ideal if you plan to stay more than just overnight-to airport. Thanks for the warm welcome in your Country Suren, your support and the delicious meals- we look forward to see you again in the future.

Positive: I really enjoyed my stay here. The house was quiet, clean, and comfortable. I could walk to nearby shops, restaurants, and even the main beach. The owner was extremely welcoming, offered tea and fruits, and shared helpful information about nearby places. Great location and warm hospitality!

Positive: + Cosy hotel - beautiful garden and balcony. Very friendly owner. Fruit, tea, coffee are always available in the kitchen. The host is always available to help. The hotel itself is located a little away from the main road, which makes the hotel very quiet.

Negative: 10/10 + Amazing stay, there’s space to chill in living room and balcony. The bed, sheets and pillows feel comfortable. Breakfast is great and it comes with fresh juice. Suren is really friendly and attentive. He makes sure I enjoy my stay (which I did). WiFi works well, a bit plus in accommodations in Sri Lanka

Positive: I like the idea that i can use the kitchen and there's no other guest, only me, so it's a calm place to stay.
Negative: I'm so disappointed when the landlord keeps making excuses to borrow money from the guest or taking advance payment of my extended stay in the property for some reason. And the most unacceptable part is they dont have extra bedsheets and towel! I've been using those things for more than 15 days! It disturbed me at night because i kept scratching and felt itchy in bed and towel. Can't even do laundry in the property. Need to clean the area as i slept with cockroach several nights. Please improve!!
