Our place at Newman Lake is a great place to rent for all types of get aways for singles, couples or families. The lake is fun for fishing and ski boating. It is 20 min. to downtown Spokane, 35 min. to Silverwood Amusement Park, 20 min to Triple Play indoor water slides and fun park, 60 min. to Silver Mountain ski and summer resort (good place to mountain bike), 50 min. to Mt. Spokane ski resort, and 1 hour 20 min. to Schweitzer ski resort. You will love the forested setting and view of Lake Newman, the nearby forested hiking trails and ATV trails. There is a lot of room for parking in the driveway and in front of the house. There is a king bed in the master bedroom and a queen bed in the second bedroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, etc. and has a dishwasher. We have a washer and dryer, towels, bed linens, ironing board, iron and extra blankets. Its a spacious house with vaulted ceilings and very nice condition. There is a public boat launch a few miles down the road on the lake. The house is well heated with wall heaters and also a wood stove for the winter. There is also an outdoor fire pit (but please make sure it isn't a no burn day before using), foos ball table, TV, DVD and Blue Ray player. Wi-Fi and cable TV included. There are three portable room air condtioners.

Summary: Peaceful, quiet, beautiful, extraordinary! I love photography and this is a photographers paradise. As for the home... I felt like I was home. Comfy bed, soft sheets, great light in the bathroom for getting ready, huge kitchen... just ugh! Loved it all. Wish I was there right now. And not to mention the price! Everyone waved at me on my photography walks. Absolutely Peaceful. If I could give Amy more than 5 stars I would!

Summary: The house was spacious and clean. My kids loved the fun loft. Check-in was easy. We were comfortable and had everything we needed. The hike around the McKenzie Conservation Area to turtle rock was so pretty and easy 2 miles RT for my kids. Close 30min to Silverwood. We would definitely rent again in the future.

Summary: Great place!! Lots of room and fully equipped for all your needs!! Way better than expected for the price paid. The best value for the money I have ever Stayed at. If I had to give a negative it would be that it is a ways away from everything. For me that was not a problem but for people looking to shop or anything it’s a bit of a drive. We will definitely stay here again if we go back to this area! Thanks

Summary: This place was great for our family of 5. We were able to have a nice quiet place to relax and unwind when we weren't exploring Spokane and Northern Idaho. The kids loved the loft. Did some family hiking up in the McKenzie Conservation Area which is just 10 minutes to the North. Good communication with host.

Summary: Unfortunately we had planned to kayak and could not use the launch nearby or the beach and had to drive to the public launch. The neighbors were not friendly. BUT the house was clean, it was quiet and relaxing.

Summary: Neighbors friendly. Bathrooms, bedrooms, inside of house great. Found no deck furniture where directed in instructions. Even though we were during really hot days, The house cooled off great at night. Even without using air conditioning. Garbage under front porch when we arrived. We carried away all of our Garbage as directed. We put no trash outside. Animal, raccoon, got into trash, still under porch from before stay. My husband picked it up and put it back under porch. This happened our final night.

Summary: The house is beautiful. Big, airy, and clean. The deck is brand new and looks great. There is a great view from the lake from the deck. The bed in the master bed room is so comfortable with really nice sheets and blankets. The approximate distance to so many things is fairly convenient.
