Positive: The quality of the house was special, it was clean, smart looking, large. The bedding was very good and comfortable and luckily had good quality warm doonas. The grounds are pretty special, shame it was torrential rain so we couldn’t explore it. There was a cupboard full of basic condiments, although we were unaware so we brought all our own I definitely would go back there, but only in the warmer season.
Negative: Wasn’t happy that the air-con didn’t work so we couldn’t get the place heated on arrival and we weren’t advised. We were super lucky that one family member is an expert at fires, and he brought DRY wood with him, so eventually the place started to warm up. The house did supply a small amount of dry wood near the back door, but not enough. A distance from the house, there was a pile of wet wood under a tarp! There are large windows everywhere but no curtaining to keep the warmth in.
Summary: Better for summer than winter!

Negative: There is no heating, house must be heated with firewood and host do not provide firewood. You must bring a lot of fire wood and make sure you have enough, otherwise you may freeze. Internet connection is very slow.

Positive: We thoroughly enjoyed the property, it exceeded our expectations form our arrival until our departure. The house has a great design with high quality finishes and lots of activities available. We enjoyed the pool table, table tennis and table football as well as walking and biking around the property. Everyday we spotted kangaroos, ducks, rabbits and foxes. A great break from the city, will definitely be coming back.

Positive: I came here for work in the suburb over, and was incredibly surprised how wonderful and underrated this stay is. It's the ultimate retreat and getaway from the urban jungle to recharge in an isolated property with a view of grass plains, cows and wild life kangaroos. You could say this was overkill size and experience for two people, and although it was, it was totally worth and enjoyable. We swam in the pool, cooked our own dinner, played some pool, watched some Netflix and importable breathed the fresh air. The garden, the plants and the hedges were beautiful to look at, and the building, details and finishings were quite easy on the eyes too. Thank you Lisa for hosting and accommodating us. We will never forget this.

Positive: As we pulled into the property, we were tantalised by the meandering tree lined driveway bordered by lichen covered timber fences. The approach to the residence didn't disappoint. We were met with beautiful gardens surrounding the verandah and a glimpse of the pavilion supporting the swimming pool. The magnificent vista to the south viewable from the home's verandah panned out over rolling paddocks and tree filled hills. The house interior was glorious. It was clean and very well appointed and had lots of indoor activities (including a pool table and table tennis). The swimming pool was clean with a retractable cover. The adjoining pavilion and outdoor seating area was a perfect retreat for relaxing days of swimming. This is truly a special place. A lovely residence nestled in established gardens and adjoining forest and nature. Lots of wildlife nearby, and set away enough from any main roads to make you feel like you're comfortably remote from the outside world.
