Summary: Het huisje is prachtig gelegen, dichtbij Pistoia maar wel weg van de drukte. Langs een onverhard weggetje dus ideaal om te lopen met de hond. De tuin is super mooi, het zwembad een huisje goed onderhouden en van alle gemakken voorzien.

Summary: The house is a little bit on the small site, but the wonderfull pool makes up for everything. Very nice owners. The only problem was the tiny mosquitos. Nothing helps gaints them, alas.

Summary: Heel mooi huis in een prachtige tuin. Maximale privacy. Groot mooi zwembad met ligstoelen er bij. Eigenaren zijn bijzonder vriendelijk en hulpvaardig. Als er iets was, waren ze snel aanwezig om het op te lossen. Diverse fietsen aanwezig van matige kwaliteit. De ligging van het huis is perfect. Op korte afstand van Pistoia en andere leuke plaatsen. De muggen in de avond zijn wel vervelend. Vanaf een uur of zes komen ze massaal opdagen. Goed insmeren met Deet is een must om te voorkomen dat je helemaal ‘ lek ‘ geprikt wordt. Huis heeft goede airco waardoor het lekker koel is om te slapen. Als je de deuren goed gesloten houdt, kun je de muggen uit het huis houden.

Summary: Prachtig domein met mooi zwembad. De woning heeft geen woonkamer en een kleine keuken zodat je wel op het terras moet gaan zitten. Daar heb je 's morgens en 's avonds wel de volle zon. Er heerste een echte muggenplaag vanaf de vooravond. De keukentafel is wel verlengbaar maar dan wordt de ruimte erg krap. De ene slaapkamer ligt naast de keuken en heeft een glazen schuifdeur met stroken mat glas en smalle stroken doorzichtbaar glas. Alle 3 de slaapkamers en de keuken hebben airco wat bij temperaturen van 35° wel noodzakelijk is. De twee badkamers hebben geen airco, maar dat vonden wij geen probleem. Er zijn 2 koelkasten zodat je zeker je dranken en eten koel kan bewaren. Let er wel goed op dat je de woning niet voorbij rijdt. Als je de Via Pulica neemt, rij dan onmiddellijk voor het bordje Via Vecchia di Mezzomonte naar links en dan sta je zo voor je vakantiehuis.

Summary: Bij aankomst werden we heel hartelijk onthaald door de eigenares en haar broer. De eigenares spreekt geen Engels, maar dankzij de vertolking van haar broer werd alles perfect uitgelegd. Het huisje zelf is zeer rustig gelegen en proper onderhouden. Zowel binnenshuis als buitenshuis waren er geen opmerkingen! Het zwembad was fantastisch en werd ook regelmatig proper gemaakt door de eigenares (in de vroege uren, waardoor wij nooit werden gestoord). We waren met 2 koppels, waarvan het ene koppel overnachtte in het zetelbed. Dit bed was tevens zeer comfortabel! Dankzij de airco in de kamers was het telkens lekker fris in huis. Ook ons hondje was hier welkom en kon genieten in de omheinde tuin. De enige opmerking die wij hadden, waren de muggen (en de mieren). Hieraan had de eigenares ook gedacht door muggenspray ter beschikking te stellen. Wel is aangeraden om zelf ook hierin te voorzien (enkele sprays voor het lichaam om zo de muggen afzijdig te houden). Pistoia zelf is tevens een héél mooi stadje, nog niet aangetast van het toerisme en héél veel authentieke elementen. Er zijn enkele mooie winkels aanwezig in de straten en vele lekkere restaurantjes. Het restaurant op nog geen 100m van het vakantiehuis is zeker ook aan te raden! Daar kan je namelijk te voet naar toe en kan je heel lekker eten met vriendelijke uitbaters. In onze ogen is dit vakantiehuis op deze locatie een echte aanrader! Zowel de omgeving, het stadje, het huisje, de eigenaars en de inwoners hebben ons kunnen bekoren.

Summary: Toscane is natuurlijk een prachtige omgeving. De villa ligt een stukje buiten de grote stad Pistoia. Ons navigatiesysteem stuurde ons via een erg moeilijke route. Er lopen verschillende wegen vanuit Pistoia omhoog de bergen in, zorg dat je hierbij de Via di Sant'Alesso of de Via Cialdina volgt, deze zijn het makkelijkst begaanbaar. Pistoia is redelijk centraal gelegen in Toscane, en mooie steden als Pisa, Lucca en Firenze zijn binnen afzienbare tijd met de auto of de trein te bereiken. Zeker voor Firenze is de trein ideaal. Voor natuurliefhebbers is het natuurreservaat Acquerino een aanrader, waarbij de tocht daarnaartoe alleen al de moeite waard is. Voor sportieve mensen is hardlopen en fietsen (mountainbiken) in de directe omgeving van de villa zeker mogelijk, hoewel dit met warm weer eigenlijk alleen in de ochtend kan. Bij aankomst werden we opgewacht door de verhuurders, die ons alles hebben uitgelegd hun Engels was wat gebrekkig, maar voldoende om alle info over te brengen. De accommodatie was heel mooi en in uitstekende staat. Alle faciliteiten werkten naar behoren en waren schoon. Er is een pizzeria (il Postino) op loopafstand, en de supermarkten in Pistoia zijn met de auto binnen 10 minuten te bereiken. Wees er wel op voorbereid dat er binnen geen woonkamer is, alleen maar een eettafeltje, wat voor ons overigens wel voldoende was. Daarnaast waren er buiten inderdaad behoorlijk wat vervelende muggen. Maar dat doet niet af aan de rest van onze vakantie.

Summary: Het huis was perfect voor ons. We zijn met 2 kinderen en een hond. Alles is recent vernieuwd en werkt perfect. De buurt is ook tof met een gezellig restaurant vlakbij. Met de aanwezige fietsen kan je makkelijk naar de stad of de bakker.

Summary: Een heerlijke plek in de heuvels bij Pistoia. Tien minuten van het gezellige stadscentrum. Een mooie plek met privézwembad, perfecte privacy, goed onderhouden en schoon huis. Vanuit deze locatie ook gemakkelijk naar Lucca of naar Florence.
