Find yourself in an astonishingly peaceful courtyard, all alive trees, scented oranges and a fountain inhabited by small turtles. Though you're in Rome's most vibrant heart, not a sound penetrates from outside. The apartments are on the ground floor of one of old buildings (maroniti convent) and open directly off the courtyard. Interiors are bright, soothing and minimalist in the most beautiful way: white walls and terracotta, glass shelving and concealed lighting. A mix of modern and brocante finds. Hobs and fridges are provided in airy, white kitchen. Shower room is gorgeous.
On three sides are 17th century buildings in yellows, ochers and reds; on the fourth, a modern glass building reflects the sun on the courtyard.

Summary: This apartment was great! Centrally located and super comfortable. Marta made our stay so special! This trip was to celebrate our 50th Anniversary and Marta welcomed us with flowers and prosecco. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Summary: The apartment was right in the heart of restaurants and bars and near the tourist attractions. Marta was friendly and made check in very easy. The courtyard was completely silent, which was a welcome relief from the noise and people on the street. Apartment was on the smaller side but certainly big enough for the 2 of us. We would recommend this property!

Summary: Hostess aware we were arriving late and we couldn’t check in until following day as host didn’t answer her phone for 3 hours. Host rang back at 3.00am in the morning. We arranged checkin next day and received a full refund for the previous night. Each time I needed to contact host she was quick to reply apart from initial first day. Unit is small however great for sleeping air conditioning was a life saver! No chairs allowed in court yard, the turtle were amazing.

Summary: When you close the big wooden green doors and walk through the arched entrance to the spacious, green, cool garden court yard, all the noise and bustle of the street disappears. The trickle of the fountain and the birds singing immediately relax you. Our apartment was ground level opposite the garden and the liner pond with 14 turtles. There was even a herb garden which we used. The street, Via in Arcione is a pedestrian street leading to Trevi Fountain, 3 blocks away. There are many good restaurants and shops available. The number 8 Hopon-Hopoff bus stop was 10 minutes walk, which we used extensively. Home in the garden is such a convenient location and the Landlord Marta, was very friendly and helpful. The suite was clean and well equipped. I have only one complaint. The vrbo listing has included in the amenity's list, a hot tub. There is not a hot tub. This item is misleading and should be removed.

Summary: We loved Marta’s place! It was centrally located, Marta went above and beyond for us, and the property was a quiet oasis to come home to. Marta booked our car service for us from and to the airport and met us to check us into the property. Amazing property in an amazing city.
