Summary: We had a great week in Rome and loved staying in this wonderful apartment. It was elegant and spaciousness with an historic feel and all the modern amenities. The living room was beautiful with an high fresco ceiling and opened on to a great private patio where we could relax and eat looking down at the streets below. The location was outstanding! Close to everything historic and with a grocery and a great restaurant steps from our door. Also, there is a taxi stand area less than 2 blocks away which was really helpful. The owner and team were really great setting up transportation for us to and from the airport and guiding us to great restaurants. A wonderful family vacation and we highly recommend this Roman Penthouse!

Summary: Pros: Great location - can walk to many attractions. 4th floor apartment and has an elevator Plenty of room in apartment Lovely balcony Nice to have the kitchen w fridge, stove and microwave. Very polite property managers Cons: Beds were uncomfortable. New mattresses are needed. Also new pillows needed as the ones on the beds weren't comfortable. Bedrooms on street side noisy late at night (people leaving restaurants) and early morning (garbage collection at 330-4am!). There were 3 adults in the unit and we were only supplied 1 bath mat, 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel each, and no face towel. We couldn't wash the towels in the washer because there is no dryer and we were afraid they wouldn't dry in time if we hung them outside. Unit is a little tired looking and could use a paint refresh over the slow season. We left early every morning, were gone most of the day, returning in the evening to shower and then sleep. Thus, didn't really use the apartment the way a family or others might have.

Summary: Was a very nice, large apartment in a perfect walkable location. Our only issue was not a ton of hot water. Otherwise, we had a great stay and the check in process was seamless. Would highly recommend.

Summary: The property was a little more worn than I was expecting, which was a perception issue. The pictures represent the property adequately. But, the location was perfect and the host was very accommodating. We had a major issue while in the apartment, which is on the 5th level. The elevator was taken down for repair which was scheduled to be 3 out of our 4 day stay. The host contacted the building management and hurried the repair on our behalf, as well as offering to help us carry our bags up and down 4 flights of stairs. This was not their fault and everything within their power was done to mitigate the problem. However, it colored our experience with our stay, as we are all over 60 and my husband is 80. Therefore, the good rating instead of excellent.
