Sitting on 5.24 acres, this home offers a private heated pool closes after Labor Day weekend. Sleeps 12. Pool table in the basement, huge firepit, and Columbus landmarks to visit within less than an hour. The pond in the front with 2 fountains are a wonderful view from many areas of the home and are beautiful at night. If you care to fish and throw them back, just bring a pole or the hostess will have a few on hand! The very large fire pit is great for roasting marshmallows with the kids. The home and 2 story connected by breezeway sleeps 10-12 adults comfortably with 3 King beds, 1 Queen, 1 double/twin trundle, and another double. There is another 1/2 bath in basement making it 3 full and 2 half. Less than 5 minutes will get you to many stores and restaurants. Hocking Hills is less than 40 minutes away! Columbus activities all under an hour including the famous COSI, Columbus Zoo, and Zoombezi Bay. Approximately 30 minutes will get you to Downtown's many attractions, such as Short North, Nationwide Arena which is home of the Blue Jackets, and many great restaurants. Kings Island is also 1 hour 40 minutes away!
Groceries are Meier, Kroger, and Giant Eagle. Restaurants (A brochure at the home will have a list with favorites), River Valley Mall, AHA! Which is a discovery place for kids. 2 museums downtown Lancaster and the Lancaster glass museum. Nearby places like Canal Winchester and Pickerington that have many restaurants and breweries that are on the famous Columbus Ale Trail!
Home has security cameras OUTSIDE ONLY monitoring driveway, front doors of kitchen, Pool area and front door of home off kitchen. The pool camera will be covered during the rental period. Ring is located on front and breezeway doors, but batteries will be removed.

Summary: The house and property and pool were all just as described in the listing. Plenty of space and amenities for our extended-family trip. And the location met all of our needs also. Summary: This property is everything that it looks like in the pictures, the pool is beautiful, the grounds and house is so well-kept. I don’t think I have ever stayed in a VRBO that has been that clean. It unfortunately rain the entire weekend but our kids did not seem to be bothered and swim in the pool/hot tub the whole time. Thank you Trish for being an excellent host.

Summary: Beautiful home! Clean and well furnished, comfortable beds and linens. We had a girls weekend there in august and had a great time hanging out in the well appointed home, patio, and especially the pool! Great home for a group gathering! We were an adult group but there was a bunch of toys to accommodate children as well. Well organized for a group stay with plenty of private space.

Summary: Trish’s house was the perfect place for us to spend our summer vacation. It was immaculate—the cleanest rental property we have ever stayed in, by far! She thought of everything for families, from comfy furniture, lots of dining seating, outdoor games (such as the adjustable basketball hoop and ball), tons of pool toys, even children’s dining ware. The pool was so clean and warm, the hot tub was very relaxing, and the beautiful fire pit was great for making s’mores! She even provided the marshmallow roasting sticks, that’s how detailed of a host she is. My only complaint is that the pond was not stocked as advertised on the listing, especially since our little ones were excited to fish for the first time on this trip. The two fountains in the pond stopped working after our first day there, which was also a bummer as they added an element of beauty and relaxation to the front yard. We are already planning our return trip for next year!

Summary: The house was perfect for our family which consisted of people of all ages. We just loved the beautiful backyard and spent alot of time in the pool. It felt like we rented a resort. The online pictures look great but it is actually even much nicer in person. We had movie nights, game nights, firepit nights and late night swimming along with Hawaiian, Mexican, German, And Asian inspired meals. In addition the owner is very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Summary: The 2 younger generations (children and grandchildren) really enjoyed the pool. The two older generations (children and grandparents) really enjoyed the adjoining brewery. Everyone enjoyed the house, its setting, and its location reasonably close to Hocking Hills State Park.

Summary: This property is gorgeous. The pool and hot tub were amazing! The only complaint I have is that the pond did not have any fish in it. My husband loves fishing, so this is one of the reasons we booked this house. Unfortunately, he was disappointed with the outcome. Other than this, it was a great stay!
