Summary: We wanted a quiet rural stay with all the luxuries of a modern home and we got exactly that. The surrounds were beautiful and brought all of us, a much needed reprieve from the city. The gardens and neighbouring paddock were peaceful and it was easy to spend your whole arvo outside. The shops are nearby and it's roughly a 15-20 minute drive to the beautiful Macedon Ranges. We wanted for nothing, The Manse had everything we could've asked for. The house was very neat and tidy, wi-fi was working great, there were no problems with utilities, the beds comfy and the kitchen was well stocked! Adéle truly went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home and was always prompt to help out. She welcomed us with Wine and Ferrero Rochers and to our surprise, there were some amazing baked goods waiting for us.All in all, our expectations were not only met, but very well exceeded! This stay is probably the best we've had.

Summary: It was freezing cold when we arrived but the heating was on ready for us and the fireplaces ready to light. Once the house warmed it remained comfortable inside. There were lots of lovely personal touches around the home, including fresh flowers, chocolates and wine.😀 our beds were comfortable and everything was clean and in good condition. I would love to return one day, such a pretty area. It was lovely to meet our host Adele.

Summary: This is a great stay. Lovely historic homestead amongst expansive beautiful gardens in peaceful surrounds. The house is well equipped with everything you need. Adele, the host, was very welcoming and accomodating. Lots of small towns and wineries nearby and lots of things to do. Close to Woodend, Macedon, Hanging Rock, Kyneton which we visited. Well worth a visit and highly recommended.

Summary: This was our second stay at the property and it was every bit as good as the first stay. The home is enchanting. The old homestead has an authentic period feel with furnishings that are both comfortable and in keeping with the historic nature of the property. There are gorgeous quirky surprises around every corner. The gardens are magnificent with lots of different spaces to explore. Adele and Ross are fabulous hosts. The communication was excellent and they go out of their way to ensure everything you might need during the stay is provided. Thank you so much Adele for making our school reunion amazing.

Summary: Our 2nd stay at The Manse June 2022 was just as 'warm' as our first. A beautiful ambience,all amenities we needed, and the beds just so comfortable. Our host, Adele, is so welcoming, without being intrusive. We four mature age sisters enjoyed our stay very much.
