Positive: The location was ideal, but would have been nice to have known this was a series of cottages that were in essence linked together but separate. It definitely looked like barns and sheds that had been converted. This however didn't detract from our stay. The facilities were brilliant, the dishwasher and washing machine were a bonus and detergent for both was supplied - for a family of 5 this was a definite boost! The clothes dried quickly when the radiators were put on. Beds were comfy and the duvets and sheets provided were comfortable. All crockery and cutlery were provided, the only problem was that the knives were exceptionally dull, and that was the only frustrating part of the stay for me. The whole house was warm, and the location was ideal as a "get away from it all" venue. The grounds and wildlife were excptional and the house was immaculate when we arrived.
Negative: Although WiFi was said to be there, it was quite slow, certainly not enough to stream anything from Netflix. Receiving messages and low data was fine. Download speed was approximately 1Mbps and upload was around 0.7Mbs. There was 4G reception but better outdoors. For the most part this is insignificant but wise to know.
Summary: Relaxing, warm, clean and comfortable. Amazing showers!
