Positive: The owner is very nice and helpful, this is the only reason why we remained there...The roof terrace is nice also.You can pay by card and hang your laundry on the terrace.

Negative: It's not very clear on Booking.com that it is not an appartament,it is a very small room with a shared bathroom and kitchen . The cleaning should be done properly, the room's walls were dirty and the kitchen and bathroom as well. The shower's draining was not good at all.There is a big electricity issue when it is raining, the water is leaking next to the light through the roof. High price for what is offered.

Positive: We were nicely attended by Carlos who gave an overview of his place and the village. The location was perfect, a 5 mins walk to the main square. They offer cheaper rooms than most the places in Juayua which could be an average experience but serve the purpose. Terrace was beautiful.

Negative: The place was a little under maintained I felt. What they offer at the price is fine but things like tainted walls, incomplete washrooms, under-equipped kitchen left us with a feeling that they should invest for a complete client satisfaction. Also, they have a metal workshop downstairs which can kill the calmness if they are at work.

Positive: The owner was really lovely and helpful. He had created a guide of good activities to do, places to go and to eat. This was really helpful and some good recommendations. The room was really good value for money

Positive: Carlos was very, very friendly, and his tips for Juayúa were awesome. He built a website with all the recommendations and tips. Carlos is the best part of the accommodation. We were allowed to borrow a sharp knife of his family. When we forgot our keys inside the room, Carlos helped us very fast.

Negative: It was hard to use the kitchen because a lot of equipment was missing. No sharp knife, only 3 plates, no cutting board, etc. There is no bathroom sink. You need to wash your hands and brush your teeth in the kitchen. The mirror is at another place, so it was not possible to shave my face.

Positive: Staff were super friendly and helpful and bed was comfy. The kitchen was also a decent size and well equipped.

Negative: Walls need a bit of paint and the bathroom shower needs a refurb, considering the price you pay - I think those little details matter and will improve the place generally.

Positive: The owner and his comprehensive and helpful introduction to the town, with some great tips. My room was spacious and had a mountain view.

Negative: The facilities are unfortunately very basic and need a lot of love and an upgrade. On the other hand, perhaps the best value for money for a private room in Juayua.

Positive: Great location, clean shared bathroom, good WiFi. There’s also a fridge, microwave and plates to use. Carlos is very friendly and even sent us a guide for Juayúa on WhatsApp after we arrived. Great value for money (especially compared to other places that are way more expensive around here).
