Negative: A lot, i will only note that the receptionist was clueless. I won't say more but their system is not good.

Positive: The room was clean enough, and it had all of the amenities that I needed. The price was good considering what you get. Nearby there were fancier hotels that had nicer rooms (aesthetically, I checked)… but in terms of practicality, this hotel was a better value.

Negative: The staff did not seem happy to see me. No one was rude, per-se… but no one smiled either, and shuffled if I had any questions. It wasn’t bad, and I would stay here again… but i did get this unwelcome feeling, even though I tried to smile and be super polite. had a problem with booking. I booked this hotel, and then used the booking map to find it. I could not find the hotel at all! I considered that this was probably a scam, and so I cancelled my booking (the listing stated free cancellation). Anyway, I kept riding my bicycle around, looking for another hotel… and i “discovered” this one… over a mile away from where Booking has it located. Booking should fix the map. This is not a problem with the hotel, but a problem with booking. Here are the correct coordinates: +20.924380, -17.040769

Positive: It had air conditioning, satellite TV and the staff were friendly

Negative: Many things. It was WAY overpriced for what you get. The hotel is very run down, but would have been nice when it was built. It’s difficult to walk from here to anywhere (but that might be general for all of Nouadhibou). I’m sure there are better options in Nouadhibou. Shop around
