Summary: Super friendly staff, strange location of breakfast room who was in the building next door but overall a great stay in a hidden gem of a city.

Summary: A fabulous gem of a hotel with very helpful staff. Beautiful rooms, extremely comfy beds, nothing too much trouble (I ordered a kettle to make tea). Right in the centre of the old town - perfect location. Gardens within the court yard a delight. (NB Expedia - there isn't a swimming pool!)

Summary: I think I drew the short straw. The comfort room is on the ground floor. I had people walking past my room windows continually to get to the restaurant. There was a table and chairs outside of my room which was noisy and didn’t make for privacy. There is no curtain on the bathroom window - just frosting - so I felt uncomfortable at night with lights on. The lights from reception come through this bathroom window too. Not good for a solo older female. I believed the room was a step up from the normal room.

Summary: We’re so disappointed that my room type doesn’t have air conditioners which not mentioned in hotel.com. Otherwise we absolutely won’t book it. And the room facilities are old and the beds lack of support. We’re not happy for this stay.
