Positive: Santiago isn’t a big town so Hotel Ana Mary is quite central to the main plaza, a local museum and also the Bus terminal. My room was basic but adequate.

Negative: Although I had good water supply in the shower in the evening there was no water at all the next morning? I never asked why. Ironically, the towel supplied was of superior quality!

Positive: The hotel is within the city limits, but a far walk from the center. I found a good supermarket 99 close by but was unable to enjoy a walk at night. The were windows in the room but no view. The shower had good hot water.

Negative: There's no reason to stop in Santiago unless you have a particular thing you want to do. Panama's second cities are nothing compared to the capital.

Summary: It was quiet and comfortable.
