Positive: The hotel was nice, clean, and in a great location with a pleasant surrounding area.

Negative: Unfortunately, the experience was let down by poor communication and service. Our room type was changed despite specifically booking two beds, and the issue wasn’t properly resolved. On top of that, the staff was unhelpful and rude upon arrival, which made the stay less enjoyable overall.

Positive: NIjmegen is perhaps the oldest city in the Netherlands, and this hotel is situated right in the old town center. We were surprised to see how their check-in works; it's entirely electronic, no registration desk, welcome staff, etc. Don't try this if you don't have a smart phone! There is a bar/restaurant downstairs from the hotel, and the staff there is helpful if you have questions. "How was the breakfast?" This hotel does not serve breakfast.

Negative: "Didn't like" doesn't describe my reaction. This one-night stay was so different from the others. It was clearly explained in their description on Booking,com, but still a surprise to encounter high-tech efficiency, an impersonal room, in the oldest area. Not a problem, just very different. We wrestled our own luggage up and down the steep staircase.

Positive: The room had a really cozy vibe and the projector you could roll down and use was the cherry on top. We were also allowed to check in hours earlier as the rooms were already free and clean. Great staff too! Also loved the Chess board randomly in the bar. We actually used it!

Negative: Both beers in the fridge were expired for a few months already but we only noticed after opening them. My boyfriend went downstairs to the bar to report it. However, it was the night of valentines and really busy so after standing there for some time he just went back to the room and we later paid for the beers through credit card.

Summary: It was an excellent hotel and id definitely recommend it to others! The expired beers were the only down point.

Positive: Really cosy, real Dutch House. Small stairs as usual. Clean, with kitchen equipment and complimentary coffee, tee and water.

Negative: For an elderly person who is not so good by foot, the stairs are really small.

Summary: Really cosy, very nice and clean.
