Positive: Beautiful verdant property with a large swimming pool and may areas to sit and enjoy. Lovely old colonial style, birds and animals roam the property, friendly service.
Negative: Some areas could use a little upgrade such as the bathrooms in the rooms. Very strong smell of cleaning product in the rooms.

Positive: It was comfortable and in a good location. I liked the grounds. Pools were nice but crowded.
Negative: Recheck in and check in took a long time - I waited more than twenty minutes in line to do recheck in and then they said I would just need to come to front deck and ask for key at check in time - but then at check in time, I was required to wait in an even longer line - it almost 30 minutes. When we did get our key cards, they didn’t work (battery on electronic lock was expired, had to wait another 15 to 20 minutes to get in the room right after we did get in the room, a manager and technician came to open and look in the safe. They were in room for a while and didn’t explain why they needed to do this after we checked in. All these issues interfered with our ability to relax. It was hard to get lounge chairs in pool area- many guests put their towels and belongings on pool chairs and then left for hours. The bar staff by pool area seemed overworked and unfriendly.
Summary: Staff seemed overwhelmed and not efficient.
