Summary: Hotel Carignano is a perfect hotel to stay in with their great staff, easy check in, a location that is very amenable to the walled old town Lucca (tip: free parking at Piazzale Don Franco Baroni. It's less than 5 minutes walk to the walls from there.) The breakfast buffet has ample and a variety of foods to select from. A truly great hotel to stay in and enjoy all that Lucca has to offer!!

Summary: We sadly only stayed 1 night here as we were on route to Umbria. Such friendly staff and a great pool for the boys! I would definitely recommend this hotel. Despite being on the periphery of Lucca it was perfect for a quick breather. The staff made the hotel even better as they were really friendly and welcoming. There is a good, well priced restaurant attached to the hotel where we are well and without spending vast sums. Well worth a visit!

Summary: Hotel was nice and clean. Room was hot even with the A/C on and the bead was really hard. Restaurant next to hotel was amazing and where we took a cooking class. Staff was friendly.

Summary: If you like staying in a countryside atmosphere, this is a very nice choice. It's fairly close to Lucca and it's very reasonable. The rooms are a bit dated, but have everything you need. It's not a luxury place, but good value for the money.
