Summary: Receptionist, sarah, friendly, and very helpful, when we said we couldnt carry suitcases up stairs, as one of us has a mobility problem, and found us a ground floor suite, which we greatly appreciated .. a really convenient hotel to stay in.

Summary: The service was pretty poor. Only one key per room and wouldn’t even tell me where my room was. My partner had arrived before me, checked in and gone for a run. I arrived and asked for the second key and she said no. I asked where our room was located (I used the room number my partner had told me) and she wouldn’t tell me, even though it was booked under my name with my credit card. Room was supposed to have a balcony and looked nothing like the photos.

Summary: Receptionist and staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and well furnished. Hotel is convenient to Hagley Park, Botanic Gardens and within walking distance of museums, restaurants and shopping areas.

Summary: There was an event at Hayley Park and while the noise from this was ok there was a problem with people returning to the hotel and hanging around the night entry way and staircase which was very close to our room. They stayed around this area for around a hour making a bit racket yelling and swearing until about 12.30am. I was disappointed that management didn’t ask them to move on to their rooms. The room was well equipped and bed comfortable. Noticed the bathroom fan didn’t work.

Summary: Room 11 is so noisy Everyone walking in to the building at all hours can be heard loud and clear No noise proofing Would never say there again for this reason

Summary: Front desk lady (in her 50’s/60’s) VERY nice and helpful! Bed: too firm (and I like firm mattresses) and the mattress protective padding felt lumpy. Entire room: nice, felt a bit dated. Bathroom: ditto. Location: it’s right near the entrance of the park … super convenient to visit the Botanical Gardens or heading to the city on foot! Heads up: hotel is right next to a restaurant. This means you’re dealing with people taking trash out LATE and the trash truck comes 3x a week at ungawdly hours (5:15 am on Friday). Make sure your room is NOT facing that direction!

Summary: Clean and tidy hotel, handy, and quiet. But the decor was very dated and could do with a bit of an upgrade. The bathroom had been upgraded, would be nice to see the rest completed.
