Positive: The hotel was right across from the monastery so that was very convenient. Room was large.

Negative: I would have liked more healthy options for breakfast such as eggs and whole grain breads. Instead, there were a lot of cakes and sweet pastries offered. Also, the restaurant attached to the hotel where we had dinner was really bad - it served the worst pizza I have had in a long time (crust was soggy and toppings very salty) and the pumpkin soup was not hot at all.

Positive: The property is an excellent value. The room was spacious and clean and the staff went out of their way to help us in any way we asked.

Positive: Breakfast typically Italian. Location next to Euresco site is impressive. Superb room with beautiful view and luxuriously furnished with vast comfortable bed. Beautiful grounds.

Negative: No fresh bread at breakfast.

Positive: Bedroom and bathroom were spacious and had high quality furniture and finishes. Our room had a view over the garden and monastery. Parking was free. The gardens & lighting were well maintained and the outside looked smart. Great location for visiting the World Heritage Certosa.

Negative: Road access meant ignoring a no-entry sign which was confusing. The shower in our room did not work and the hand shower flooded the bathroom floor. The support arm hung loose. The lift didn't work when we were there. English isn't spoken, although understandable as visitors must be mostly Italian.
