Summary: Wonderful hotel with great atmosphere- if you are looking for luxury packaged in a subtle and classic way, this is the hotel for you. The evening jazz concerts in Cafe Laurent is the icing on the cake.

Summary: The front desk staff was excellent. However, the concierge was not! we only had a brief time to walk to a nice cafe for lunch. We had in mind a good place to go. We checked with the Concierge who talked us into walking past numerous perfect cafe’s only to arrive at a run-down cafe in a construction zone. We walked so far that we missed having a good experience and had to return to the hotel. My advice would be to do the opposite of what the concierges at this hotel recomends!

Summary: Wonderful hotel in St Gemain des Pres. Excellent facilities, generous rooms especially for Paris, and splendid bed, bathroom, bath and shower. Stands out for Cafe Laurent, where you can listed to beautiful jazz every evening until 10.30 pm. Upmarket, neat and small. A treat.

Summary: A truly 5 star hotel. Elegant property. Attentive staff, all always in fine attire. Great jazz bar downstairs. Note that the drinks are all very expensive. This is one of the best areas in Paris to stay, just a block away from Pont Nuef. Wonderful restaurants nearby. We stay five nights and enjoyed our time. Beautiful quiet room.
