Positive: Very nice staff, clean room and toilet, good dinner, amazing nature and location
Negative: Air conditioning in rooms. Due to the heat wave, room was hot and humidity was high. I wished to have an A/C in the room. The control panel in the room was not even functioning. They had a central ventilation system but the air registers in the room was not blowing cold or dry air at all.

Positive: Great and super-friendly staff, both in the hotel as the restaurant. We were on a family mission and Erve Hulsbeek has supported us greatly to fulfil that well. The park and woods were superfine for our dynamic dog.

Positive: The property was clean, comfortable and well-designed.
Negative: The room was rather hot in the summer heat. We had booked in the hotel restaurant for dinner, but at dinner time the staff were preparing for a wedding the following day and were making a lot of noise blowing up (and bursting) balloons and testing the music system. We decided to head into town instead, but this was inconvenient at short notice. The venue should have closed the restaurant for the evening. Recommendation: ask if the restaurant will be preparing for an event before making a reservation.
Summary: A great hotel in a beautiful setting, let down by restaurant experience
