Summary: The entire stay was amazing. The room and bathroom were spacious with several amenities. Being able to walk to Goðafoss was a memorable experience. Dinner at Agave was delicious.

Summary: Excellent location right next to Godafoss. Clean and quiet room. Very friendly staff. Dinner was good. Breakfast was good, but we felt it was small and not worth what they charge for it.

Summary: We absolutely LOVED our stay at Hotel Godafoss!! What really stood out to us was the caring, attentive, approachable and generous staff, specifically the owner/operator of the property. She puts everything she has into making sure you have a lovely stay. She's put a lot of love into her meals at the restaurant, and we all had an excellent dinner after a long day of hiking. We had to make a last minute change of hotel plans due to another hotel falsely advertising amenities (like laundry facilities) and the cleanliness of their location. The owner of Hotel Godafoss helped us out tremendously by taking our laundry, and we snagged the last two rooms she had available. The rooms are definitely small and cozy, but the location is PERFECT! From a delicious on-site, family-run restaurant to being steps away from Godafoss where you can walk the trails late in the evening practically alone...it was the absolute perfect stay for us.

Summary: The view from our room was AMAZING! We stayed in the suite above the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Our room was welcoming and I loved the heated bathroom floor.

Summary: Lili was a delightful host. The rooms were clean and quiet. Once you step outside you can hear the fallls. It actually gets dark enough there to be able to see the northern lights
