Positive: The restaurant staff and manager , Guloo Singh were lovely and really tried their best.

Negative: Payment procedure . The hotel advertises on this portal for foreign guests but does not have a POS enabled for international cards . This coupled with a lack of communication meant that It lead to a very stressful checkout. We paid in advance, in full for 2 rooms for a week's stay - 3 weeks prior to our stay - with a bank transfer . I forwarded confirmation on booking.com and messaged / asked continuously, up to and during our stay if payment had been received to which the reply was " we are still looking for it". The afternoon before our check out ( a SATURDAY, not a business day), we were Informed " no payment received ". The manager's demeanor was as if he was dealing with criminals saying " this is a problem for us ". On a Saturday - it is impossible to prove or check easily with banks . In a town where it is difficult to even find a bank with a teller that has an international circuit. Travelling for business - our vendor intervened to assist us. Noting on a cautionary level- If you were a tourist with no contacts in Badohi- it would have been impossible to pay. This establishment should not be on booking.com which is a reputable international portal - UNTIL they spend the minimum monthly fee to process payments on international cards . Or they should only accept Indian guests.

Summary: A gallant " investment " ( in the owner's words ) but not equipped for foreign guests

Positive: Large room, perfect staff. Good quality of breakfast

Negative: Everything was good. I would recommend reserving a small area for the breakfast buffet as well. Sometimes waiting for food can be quite long, especially if you are traveling for business
