Summary: I enjoyed my stay. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Housekeeping came around everyday. Parking is behind the hotel and you can use valet for $40/day or the self service parking which is $30/day. Being that the hotel is Downtown its best to use the self service parking or another parking garage near by.

Summary: Check-in took an hour and a half outside due to system being down. Our family was unable to complete our dinner plans as we were very behind schedule due to the hotel system outage.

Summary: Pros: friendly service and clean hotel. Good location for exploring the downtown core and going to a baseball or hockey game. The TV was large and easy to use. Cons: Inconsistent service at the check in. Delays at check in. Parking is secure but a tad expensive. The room needed some Reno work on the door to access the fridge and this appliance worked poorly. The Air Conditioning was good but old and noisy. Street noise was loud even in the 11th floor.

Summary: The room was okay. The bathroom was very small and had some mold in the corners of the shower. We were going to eat dinner in the hotel restaurant but there wasn’t a 4 top clean for us to sit down. We waited a several minutes until the bartender came out from the back and snapped at us to seat ourselves, but since there was nowhere for us to sit together, we just left. It was so disappointing because we had just arrived in Detroit and we were tired from our travels. We just wanted to eat at the hotel, but wound up having to walk a few blocks to the Lafayette Coney Island to have dinner. It was great by the way. Downtown Detroit is great, safe, and beautiful. There are better, similarly priced hotels to stay at- especially if you are in town for a sporting event.

Summary: Arrived at 5:20pm. for check-in. The line was out the out the door and onto the sidewalk. (About 30 people) All waiting to be checked in. The rooms were not cleaned and ready yet. Finally got checked in and up to our room at 6:15. Passed cleaning crew in the hallway on our floor pushing a cleaning cart while playing "Candy Crush" on her phone. . . . Clearly, no sense of urgency. This made us miss the first pitch at the Tigers game that night.

Summary: It was fine. A little lukewarm given the price per night. The AC would stop in the middle of the night then loudly start back up again - disrupting sleep. The hallway and room seemed creaky as well.
