Positive: Love the view from our porch. Everyone was super nice and helpful. Breakfast was outstanding even though it never changed. Same every day, but enjoyed it anyway.
Negative: Bathroom was not very good. Shower space lacked handicap bar and glass side of shower space was limited and allowed water to go everywhere. Needed more towel bars.
Summary: Room was very nice with good views. Staff was very friendly and helpful

Positive: The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived early and they allowed us to get changed and stay by the pool till the room was ready. The room was spacious, air conditioned, with fridge, microwave other smaller appliances for coffee and tea. We were not aware of any noise as we were far enough from the parties in the village. The balcony had cool breezes and the bird serenades to enjoy. The cost was a little more than other hotels, but was worth it. Unfortunately, it was off season and the chef was away for a month. Breakfast was good. The free welcome cocktail and the arrangement with beach restaurants was a benefit.
Negative: It is unfortunate that the booking mentioned the restaurant but neglected to mention that it would be closed on the dates we stayed there. Overall very nice convenient and quiet place to stay with modern rooms.

Positive: Location was excellent, possibility to park the renta car next to the room, new bathroom, excellent bedding, beautiful view from terrace, convenient little kitchen corner, very good WIFI and internet speed, possibility to get fresh beach towels daily, possibility to use sun beds for free in 5 different beaches
Negative: Over 48hrs of complete black out, not the hotel fault but the team could have reacted better... And try to compensate one way or another the guests who stayed 3 nights without electricity, lights, A/C, TV, Internet, in complete darkness except for one little candle given by reception... On the 3rd night no more hot water, we were ready to give up when the electricity came back around 21.30! As an example on check out i asked for one hour extension to leave the room, which was refused not very nice considering what we experienced... The hotel team could have organised a little cocktail to say thank you for your patience & understanding... In short, the hotel could have done much better to deal with this unfortunate situation... Regarding the junior suite where we stayed, the lounge area coud be organised better so you can watch the TV, or replace the small screen by a much bigger one so you can see properly from bed...

Positive: Been to this property several times. It is very well managed. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. We like the private setting and outdoor space with view. Beach towels and complimentary chairs on beach were a plus.
Negative: While during our stay we experienced a 36 hour power outage un related to La Plantation. I thought they could have done a little more to improve the comfort like keeping lights on near pool for reading etc. Not a complaint we made out fine.
