Summary: The hotel is very spacious, inside and around the pools. There are plenty sun beds. The staff members are friendly. The breakfast is good, but the dinner buffet is disappointing. It is in a quiet area on the beach and close to restaurants, a bus stop and taxi rank.

Summary: Fantastic stay at the Lava Beach hotel. The 5 star rating is truly justified. Rooms were large and well finished, robes and slipper included. Spa facility for massage was great and worth the extra money. Restaurants in 200m either direction if you don’t want to eat in the hotel. Breakfast was great and the Cava was a nice touch. Drinks and bar snacks were all responsibly priced and the piano bar had live enetertainment everynight which was great for a night cap. Will definitely come back. Distance to Puerto del Carmen centre is around a 30 minute walk, €4.5 in a taxi. Great to break the day up.
