Positive: The room was very comfortable and cozy, perfect for recharging after a few days of physical activities. It was also valentines day and the hotel made special arrangements with my partner to give me a surprise. The facilities and amenities were great, and the location was convenient to explore the bustling parts of the city.
Negative: There were mosquitoes, probably flew in when the door was opened.

Positive: The vibe of the whole hotel, including the connecting walkways, fountains and the rooms, felt steeped in history so I really enjoyed the ambience. It felt like experiencing the royal life from the past.
Negative: Even though they had mosquito netting for the door to the balcony, mosquitoes kept getting in somehow. I couldn’t sleep the whole night due to mosquitos constantly buzzing around my face and biting me. You’d have to use lots of mosquito patches to get any decent sleep.
Summary: Lived like vintage royalty during my stay.

Positive: We were so lucky to get an upgrade to Avery beautiful room. Very striking historic hotel. Breakfast was excellent. The personell was helpful and very attentive. Playing the piano in the restaurant was great.
Negative: Getting to the other side of the road lol. Traffic was eventually stopped by the very nice young man at the front lobby who watched my efforts.
