Summary: BEWARE. The hotel is dishonest. They will read this review and respond saying I was wrong. I tried to explain my situation which is when I first booked my room it was a double. I then upgraded to a room that said 3 people. The man at the hotel said to call him and not go through hotels.com if I needed to upgrade. I called hotels.com and they said I could upgrade online and book the room for 3 people and not go through the hotel. I did this as you can see. When i arrived the man at hotel when greeting us was very rude and told me I could leave if I wasn’t happy. Mind you, we had just traveled a long way with my two adult kids. He didn’t want to listen to me explaining I had upgraded to a larger and more expensive room because it said 3 people. YES I did not change it online from 2 people to 3 but I paid for a room for 3 people. The man made me pay for an extra room which cost me another 400.00 on top of the 500.00 I had already paid for the other room. He literally said to me “I only want happy people here and you can leave”. I was nervous and scared of this guy so I paid the extra room fee. The next day my son asked him about inexpensive boat options and he rudely said “just go to harbor and figure it out yourself”. When I checked out, I was now dealing with the hotel owner, a woman and I explained what happened. She did not care and was just as rude! They will most likely respond this and say it was my fault but trust me it wasn’t. Dishonest and rude. Stay away.

Summary: Our stay at the Hotel Meridians was wonderful (4 nights). I would highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Malcesine. It is a very short walk to the historic district and castle. It is a very safe neighborhood. I would have no problem letting my teenagers walk to the town center alone. The hotel itself is lovely. The decorations are contemporary and tasteful. They have both outdoor and indoor dining. The breakfast buffet is spectacular in both taste and presentation with a large variety of foods to fit any appetite. The views from the dining area overlooking Lake Garda are impressive. The staff was very friendly and helpful particularly Francesco who checked us in and helped us with travel advice. The room and bedroom were clean and comfortable. There were no issue with language even though we do not speak Italian. We most definitely return!

Summary: A small family-owned hotel beautifully located in the less busy and crowded parts of Malcesine. The rooms are modern, clean, spacious and all with a beautiful view of the surroundings. The breakfast is amazing. We will be returning!

Summary: Great town to visit for a day or 2. It was extremely hot when we are there for 2 days (90 Fahrenheit/35 Celsius). Same as in Venice and will be the rest of our trip). Best breakfast ever. Great location and able to walk to everything. Took the boat to Limone but Malcesine was our favorite of what we have seen. Staff was good and place is impeccable and complete. Highly recommended.

Summary: Fantastic family runned hotel perfectly situated in wounderful Malcesine. Near both city center, the sea and the cable car to the mountains. Service was exellent (10/10) with a fantastic buffe breakfast. Garden with a beautiful view of the Garda lake. We stayed for 3 nights and give the best recommendations for this hotel!
