Negative: 70's has been styled, the staff is welcoming but barely speaks English. The hotel was way too big, took us 5 minutes to go from the lobby/pool to our room each time.

Positive: beside the beach, great views, well-kept hotel with a 70s hawaii feel.
Negative: I rarely give negative feedback but the staff were not competent in dealing with my room upgrade problem. Instead of listening and going over the details, they made quick conclusions which were wrong and prolonged the mess. Their lack of English proficiency added to this. Though the location was great for the beach, the surrounding restaurants were mediocre at best. Also, when we rented kayaks, it was horribly confined as to where and how far we could go. If you have never kayaked, it might be good enough for a first time, but otherwise a poor experience.

Negative: We are a family of four, booked as four, but every day we received only two towels. I had to go to the front desk every day to ask for an additional two towels. Would have been nice if front of house communicated better with back of house staff.

Positive: Very Beautiful Beach. Nice location.
Negative: People are not so polite. Too many rules. All workers are not flexible for nothing. We had a big problem with the front desk due the breakfast ticket. Also the people from restaurant not friendly. Totally different from what we lived in Japan until that time. The worker is not prepared to treat customers. Very hard. Unflexible and rude. Looks like you are not customer in the place. I would no comeback
