Positive: A beautiful hotel with a lot of nice details that compliment the nearby garden at Las Pozas. The room was large, the king size bed was comfortable, and the shower was great. The pool and gardens are beautiful as is the restaurant. I really enjoyed staying here, and it is very good value for the price.

Negative: The coffee. Terrible. Buying good quality locally grown coffee and brewing it properly would make the breakfast special. The top floor Orchidea rooms could use chairs on the terrace. A bench in the room would be nice. My luggage was on the floor because the wardrobe is too small.

Positive: Loved the beauty of the gardens and the nice rooms. The maids cleaned the rooms beautifully. Quaint and unique. Staff helpful. Loved having the restaurant!

Negative: We were there when weather turned cold. Unfortunately, the small space heater did not keep us warm. I think the weather was unusual

Positive: Excellent location in the forest , friendly staff, clean comfortable room. Nestled in the forest away from the town. Great to sleep hearing th birds and insects.

Negative: The restaurant. Had dinner at the restaurant and it was not good. Next morning for breakfast we had tamales from a street vendor instead (they were great!). The owner at the restaurant denied us water, wanted money to fill our water bottles!!!!!!! Had never been denied water as a guest in a hotel.

Summary: Great hotel, avoid eating there
