Positive: I loved the location and the fact that the hotel is directly on the beach, with a nice pool. The staff were very helpful, to the extent that they could be.
Negative: We did not have internet the entire time we were there - for six days! The manager was willing to give us a room upgrade, to the beach, but I tested the internet there and it also did not work. There was no microwave, and not any type of small desk or table in the room, to work on. The facilities are quite old. The pillows and mattresses need to be updated. The cost was not cheap for what we got. I will go back to opting for a VRBO or AirBnB in the future. I got a cold while there and everytime I wanted a cup of tea it cost $2.50. If we had a microwave it would have been so much easier to make tea and reheat our leftover food from the day before. Los Barrillos is a fairly expensive beach town.
Summary: Lovely views, nice pool and beach, lousy internet, no microwave. Dated facility.

Negative: Needs new bedding, pillows and beds.
Summary: I would go back. Definitely request pool side rooms. they are a little larger and brighter.

Positive: Epic location , friendly helpful staff and comfortable rooms. Tomas at reception helped us book a last minute fishing trip which was so good we had the best time. Nice big pool and good poolside bar not the flashiest place if you are looking for 5 start but more than enough for us. Hope to come back
Negative: Only thing is that the gift shop wouldn’t take card and we had no cash left and found some treasures in there that we would of liked to take home .
