Summary: A superb medieval historic location with enthusiastic staff. Everyone is happy to use their English and help you with your Italian! Rooms are great; ask for one with a view whixh may be the plaza or small historic streets. Great escape.

Summary: Hotel Posta is always 100% exceptional in all ways. Particularly with 100+ degrees outside, it has the BEST A/C in Reggio. Breakfast was outstanding, and so was the wide area around the hotel. Despar grocery store a 6-minute walk away, Pharmacy 2 minutes away, and many fine stores, gelato, and restaurants within a 10-minute walk that is entirely a pedestrian area.

Summary: The room was very cool. It is a historic building so the bed felt like it had come when beds were first invented 😅 so be prepared for that :) other than that,, my stay was lovely!

Summary: Oldstyle hotel. Could have been better beds. And chair is not that comfortable if you’re working. Gym is ok. Breakfast quite good, dining area is awesome. Location is probably the best with this hotel

Summary: Lovely place in old town Reggio. Close to shops, restaurants, GELATO and train station. Definitely recommend.

Summary: Great choice. Location could not be better. Great ambience. Very good breakfast. Only point for us was that air con could have been cooler (it was exceptionally hot when we stayed)

Summary: This was our second time staying at Hotel Posta having stayed there for three nights in 2016. We were accompanied by my Sister and her husband this time, as we loved the area and the experience that Posta offered. After our second visit we can not in all good conscience give one of our favourite places to stay in Italy a five star review. So many things have changed from our initial experience. The breakfast offering is underwhelming compared to 9 years ago which for us is a big deal. We’re big breakfast early dinner while traveling. The hotel itself is gorgeous, inside and out, but it appears a lack of maintenance might be creeping into the rooms. Our shower was slow draining on day one, and in spite of my digging into the drain did not drain while we had our final breakfast while there.

Summary: This is a beautiful old historical hotel, immaculately looked after. The staff are very helpful, breakfast is good and varied and it’s right in the centre of town. This was my second stay and I suspect I will be back for a third.
