Positive: Location - unique among other hotels with superb views of valley and City. Easy access to business areas. Múltiple eating options nearby. Customer service - from front desk through to housekeeping everyone friendly and professional. Executive room with own balcony - excellent large double mattress, quality bedding and towels ; good cupboard/storage space. Bathroom bright and spotlessly clean. Breakfast buffet - large display of fresh fruit with cooked food kept at right temperature in warmers. Outside areas - large area given over to pool, eating etc. and pleasant gardens to stroll around. Handy guest PC facilities.

Negative: External aspect- facades front and back in need of serious maintenance. Live streaming - no Netflix or online access. Current set up obselete. Bedroom carpet not vaccumed daily. Lighting - no overhead lighting in seating area making it difficult to read.

Positive: I had a reduced mobility room with a great view to the swimming pool. One morning we had a spectacular. red sky sunrise. My bed was excellent. Breakfast was delicious and service very friendly. Fast lift was a plus. I needed to print some letters and the reception kindly did for me. So helpful to book a taxi. Swimming pool was great and they take care of you.

Negative: Well, unexpected restaurant service was unfriendly.... athey do not have ingredients offered in the Menu. My souo was double salted, no grissini parmiggiano and no smoked mushrooms. The Chimichurri of my octopus was absent. The cucuruchos dessert no figs and no traditoonal Ecuadorian sweet, especially no edible flowers. Nasty service, as from another planet, not Hotel Quito. They charge compulsory 10% tip above the cost.... not included and not informed. Tip is not compulsory in Ecuador.

Summary: I felt protected with timely service in this Quito home.
