Summary: We stayed at the hotel for a weekend in the beginning of July and we had an okay stay. There were some good things and some not so good things: Pros: - Location (close to beach, promenade, restaurants, tram stop, parking (need to be reserved in advance)). - Big room, full body mirror, toilet separate from bathroom, comfortable bed, small fridge, seating area. - Breakfast was good. Cons: - Expensive parking and unclear instructions from hotel. - Room was very worn down (paint falling off walls, worn down bathroom and toilet, very dusty areas) - Very low water pressure in the shower. - No air condition, so the room was very warm all day and night and only a small part of the window could be opened. - Not very sound proof - we could hear everything from the hallway and the street and got woken up many times during the night from guests coming home. - Not possible to lock the door from the inside, which was uncomfortable. - No “do not disturb sign”, so cleaning staff can come in at any minute. - No door to the bathroom which was located right by the main door. - Very small and overcrowded pool.

Summary: Based on the images we expected higher quality so it was a disappointing experience. The room we booked was 'superior', however, it was old and not amazingly maintained - the wallpaper was slowly letting loose and cracking open; insulation was bad as we could feel a cold draft close to the windows. There was no door on the bathroom, which was just a bit strange for us. One of the receptionists was not very friendly - we felt that we were seen as stupid for even asking things. On the positive side: breakfast was varied and hotel staff at the restaurant was friendly and attentive. The beds were comfortable.

Summary: The hotel and staff were professional and friendly. Overall the hotel is well situated not far from the coast. The rooms are clean and well furnished. The quality/price ratio is well balanced.

Summary: Nice big rooms, friendly staff in the lobby. Prive quality is this a perfect choice. The breakfast buffet was more than sufficient in choice and quantity. A little too much noise from a cleaning machine or a washing machine in the middle of the night was a little disturbing. And the shower is very slippery which maybe should be take care of to avoid injuries. But overall I stay a pleased client.

Summary: Tired hotel that needs a refurb. Room clean.bed comfy.shower lacked power or heat. Breakfast limited choice.but as good as any ive stayed in ostend. Staff pleasent. Would i stop again. Yes
