Summary: Hotel was in a convenient location with amazing views from the terrace and roof top. Easy access to parts of the city by funiculars that were close by. Downside was that roof top was off limits to guests for two of the three days staying at the hotel. We booked here because of the pool and outdoor terraces and common areas and we could not use these areas because of outside events booked by the hotel. On the day we were able to use the pool at 5 pm because we had to vacate due to yet another wedding that was happening that evening. It would have been helpful if the hotel could have informed us of the limited access before the deadline for cancellation given the restriction on hotel amenities.

Summary: Some of the lower scores are down to this is an old converted building. However the room had a damp smell and the fittings were not of great standard. Napoli is a busy city and has its own identity so don’t be surprised by the graffiti, busy noises narrow streets. The staff were excellent btw. There is parking available, but be aware driving around the city with its steep and narrow streets provide much jeopardy. The view of the city is great and the 4th floor bar is nice. We would advise walking to the town and using lime bikes to get back

Summary: The hotel was beautiful. The history is amazing. The food is not good. We ate there twice. It was very expensive and was not very good. The “burger” was loaded with cheese. I like cheese, but it had a ridiculous amount. We had dinner and it was pretentious.

Summary: The rooftop terrace and restaurant alone make this property worth booking. Amazing views of Napoli and the bay day and night. The location is wonderful up on the hill out of the real hustle and bustle but also very accessible to everything with just a walk down the stairs right outside the hotel. Only one con for me was the lighting in the bathroom. Just a little dark and I forgot my lighted magnifying makeup mirror so getting ready was a bit of a challenge. I would definitely stay here again. Super comfy bed as well.
