Negative: Glad that we stayed for only one night. The shower was cold. The apartment smells a bit humid. And we didn’t have good experience with the hosts. 1.) We were interacting via whatsapp, upon checking in, we were aggressively bombarded with messages, chased us for the check out time and to pay the city tax. 2.) On booking, arrival after 20:00 involves a surcharge of 15€. We requested to arrive 1900-2000, they still asked us to confirm the surchage which we questioned and refused. Upon arrival, the key is retrievable from a keybox with a pin code. What exactly was the surcharge for. 3.) As we had an “automated” check in, we did not meet the host. They pushed us to pay city tax via instant bank transfer which we have to pay extra fee. (Perhaps the host should set up a paypal account for instant transfer). But they agreed in the end that we could pay upon checking out by cash. 4.) We requested to check out at 1030, the host sent aggressive whatsapp message that the check out time is 10am, deviated from what was stated on booking as 10-1030. We did a screenshot to reconfirm, they then deleted the aggressive whatsapp message 5.) They called at 10:09am as they were already with a new group of people to check in even we aligned the check out time as 1030am. The entire stay was stressful. Didn’t understand all the great friendly reviews. With the same price, we had an entirely different experience at other accommodation

Positive: Sweet appartement and the top of a hill with very nice neighbourhood. Not the space for hanging out a lot, since there is not a lot of daylight coming in, but not a problem at all, if you are in Napoli for the city!
Negative: Confusing communication around the breakfast - we are still not sure if they just forgot to provide more than coffee and cookies.

Positive: Wonderful rental, very clean and comfortable. It is well equipped with everything you may need and I appreciated how clean it was. The host is very friendly, kind and helpful and also very quick and responsive to any questions I had. Would highly recommend.
Negative: The road system is quite confusing and busy in Naples, which is not the fault of the property at all but does require a bit more navigation and planning.
