Summary: Super friendly soon as we walked in the door. Some of the low reviews had to be people that did not understand they were staying in a 1929 building- it was beautifully restored and had the feeling of staying in a historic hotel. Loved the stay. Jamie’s was a great eating spot that evening as well. Will recommend to anyone who loves something unusual and not “chain” hotels.

Summary: If you’re looking for simple, this place is it…but that’s it. They advertise it opened in 1929, and it’s obvious. The place definitely needs an upgrade. In our room the carpets had multiple stains, the toilet pipes leaked onto the bathroom floor and water pressure for the sink and shower was the same as it was in 1929. The room was muggy and damp and the ice bucket leaked all over the table. Room was small, but quiet.
