Summary: The Hotel Maria Manuela is great; nice rooms, and the Spa is excellent. Located at Benia de Onis, is a great option off the beaten path, surrounded by nature; the food at the restaurants across the Hotel is amazing. Do not leave without visiting the store next door to the hotel where they sell local cheese, iberico ham, bread and of course Cider.

Summary: Hotel is listed as being in Cangas where friends were staying. It is not. Rather ~16km east. Staff a bit diffident. Clean hotel and rooms. Room # changed during check in for unclear reasons. Certainly not an upgrade. Room relatively small Quiet at night. Breakfast outstanding with huge spread.

Summary: The stay itself was very good. The hotel is clean, even some parts would need a makeover. The breakfast was good. The hotel is in a good location in the middle of Benia de Onis, which is actually 15km outside of Cangas de Onis. The address indicated on the booking confirmation by Hotels.com is unfortunately misleading. If you want to see the bigger city, it takes you 15 minutes to get there. But also in Benia de Onis are a couple of restaurant and you will be woken up by cow balls, if you are lucky.
