Positive: Location. The beach access is THE thing here. Walk out of your room, and in 30 seconds, you're on a small private beach. We also enjoyed walking the marina on the other side. Staff were all kind and helpful.
Negative: Small thing: The tub/shower combo had a very high side and no grab bars, so getting in and out, especially when it was wet, felt a bit treacherous. Perhaps it was the cumulative wear and tear (we were there the last night before they closed for the season), but the room could use a bit of a freshening up. Paint was a bit dingy/cracked in places, the dresser top was scratched up.

Positive: The location was OK, the bar staff were good, the views were great, the size of the rooms was great.
Negative: The hotel needs an update and was overpriced for both the weekend and the quality of fittings. The lights in the bathroom only worked sometimes, the aircon had no useful controller and was too cold. Needing jackets for dinner is antiquated and the requires weekend travellers to overpack - we ate elsewhere. Dining options for lunch were sparse.
Summary: To visit nice beaches you need to hire a boat.

Positive: Amazing service, very convenient location - close to Porto Rotonde but with very private beach. Breakfast and overall restaurant was very good! We always had dinner there. We got room upgrade to sea view and we got early check in, so enjoyed the beach since morning when arrived.

Positive: Great private beach and ocean view. Awesome breakfast. Staff was super friendly and attentive.
