Positive: Clean, modern and comfortable room. Cute little reception / bar area and wonderful breakfast. Front desk was very helpful and friendly. Outdoor spa was lovely with a great view.

Positive: We liked everything about this place. The staff was super friendly and provided a great service. There was no vegetarian option on the menu for dinner, but the chef made a vegetarian dish from scratch and it was absolutely delicious! The rest of the dinner was also fantastic. Also, after dinner we went to the hot tub outside and we were lucky enough to see very strong northern lights! The breakfast selection was also very good.

Positive: Everything was spotlessly clean and smelled fresh and new, like a luxury store. The design was a nice blend of old charm and new convenience. Small touches, like shoehorns by the doors and high-end toiletries in the shower, were appreciated. The staff was local and welcoming. The location was bucolic and especially pleasant in autumn, as this little corner of Iceland has more trees than most.
Negative: The breakfast could have benefited from more hot options. All in all, it was still high quality.

Positive: The situation of the hotel is stunning! Beautifully furnished with real class. The concept of a chunky soup, beautiful bread and cake offering for dinner is so inspired. Staff were just ‘on it’ in the very best way!

Positive: Probably one of my favorite stays in Iceland. Greeted warmly upon arrival after a long day of driving. Was shown to rooms. Rooms were lovely. Well appointed and good size. The owner upgraded our rooms to ones with a view which was so thoughtful. Rooms were impeccably clean. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms large. We slept with the window open all night and it was heavenly. Soft music plays in the reception and dining areas. We had dinner which consisted of two types of soup-chicken and Icelandic meat soup. Bread, salted butter and dessert offered as well. Breakfast in the morning consisted of pasties, fruit, cheese and sliced meat, hard boiled eggs along with yogurt options with various toppings. Juice, milk, water and coffee available. They also have an outdoor jacuzzi. Overall, just a lovely, clean comfortable place to stay. Wish we could’ve stayed longer than one night.
Negative: Would only maybe request two pillows for each person instead of one because I like to hug one at night.
