Summary: We had a very enjoyable stay overall. The hotel entrance creates an excellent first impression with a welcoming atmosphere and stylish decor that immediately sets a high standard. The dining experience was outstanding, and the breakfast was particularly impressive, offering a great selection of high-quality food and attentive service. The only aspect that fell slightly short of expectations was the room itself. While it was clean, comfortable, and perfectly functional, it lacked the character, style, and attention to detail that were so evident in the hotel’s downstairs areas. Compared with the beautiful entrance and dining spaces, the room felt quite basic and somewhat uninspiring. With a little more investment in the room décor and furnishings, the overall experience would have been exceptional. Despite this minor drawback, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return for the excellent food, breakfast, and welcoming atmosphere.

Summary: I can’t think a better place to stay. Good breakfast, close to city center and transportation like ferry to wolfsgang. Free parking available. Definitely recommended.

Summary: The breakfast was fantastic, many varieties for guests to choose from, items were replenished immediately when the level is low, attentive staff. The hotel staff was amazing for letting us do early check in and getting a bigger room (great view), also sending us the guest mobility ticket so we can have free transit before checking in, great service! The room is quite spacious, it can get quite hot in the room on the top floor (there is a cooling air condition fan to use - helps a bit).

Summary: The Guest Mobility ticket for bus service was a nice and welcome surprise. I used it extensively to get around the area and to return to Salzburg to continue my journey by train. The secure WI-FI had a very, very poor signal which made it very difficult to use. Fortunately for me, I could use my VPN on the unsecure WI-FI and that worked just fine.

Summary: A very friendly “family” hotel where all staff were very friendly and helpful. It also helped that the Town of Strobl has a friendly vibe with everyone out to help visitors have a great time - I certainly did!

Summary: We chose Stroblholf, by its location, wanting to experience the local culture. The staff were dressed in their folk style attire, the food was excellent, and the rooms clean. In the evening we were entertained by the dining room hearth. The gentleman sang played the Harmonica and accordion encouraging others to sing along as the locals showed off their dance skills. At the end of the small town main road is a crystal clear lake where you can rent boats, swim or walk around the lake on one of the many paths.It was a wonderful experience, and I would go back in a heartbeat.
