Summary: We were a couple without kids at this hotel, were looking for some relaxing and indulgent experience next to the coast without having the family/kids flair to the visit. We were very satisfied with what we ve got, spa is just right for having nice time together with enough variety and wonderful outdoor part. Even though the hotel is a bit outside the small town of Saeby, it doesn t take long with a walk to the centre (15-20 min). Take the seawalk if weather allows. Mind the restaurant was fully booked on weekends (which we found out to our surprise), but again, city was nearby and this little surprise didn t let us down anyway. I would recommend paying a bit extra for the seaview rooms as otherwise your room will look over the road, not a deal breaker, but a detail that can make a difference. Breakfast could be a bit better looked after by personnel with filling up dishes that were running out, but the selection was absolutely delicious, one of the best hotel breakfasts in a while. And also, bath robes could have been included for hotel guests, felt a bit ”cheap” with having to pay for robes and confusing with where to get them while at most other spa hotels one gets extra towel, robe and slippers nicely prepared for you in the room upon arrival, so it becomes almost expected for a hotel of this kind and price point

Summary: Arrived late in the evening, and was greeted by off-duty staff who helped check me in after hours and open up the bar! Room was clean and the stay was pleasant, despite them having some refurbishment works taking place at the hotel.

Summary: Great service, great room, great view, and spa center. This is close to Skagen but not too close as Skagen can get too touristy. Loved the quiet and the service.

Summary: The pool and spa was quite nice and made the stay more enjoyable. The actual hotel could use a bit of sprucing up... it seems a bit dated and weary, although not uncomfortable. We also found ourselves "locked out" the one night - coming home after 11 pm. Luckily we found an open door by going around and checking all of them. When we complained in the morning, the receptionist noted there was a sign on the door - however, it was not in English. It would have been nice if the receptionist had mentioned when we went out that evening about the door locking (or the sign had been in English as well as Danish). The breakfast was good and filling.
