Positive: The views are great, the food was fantastic (opted for dinner both nights) and access to get in the sea was really nice.

Negative: The rooms was ok, but had a couple issues. The bed was not put together properly so it was not level. We asked to have it fixed and they put a pillow under one corner, helped but not great. The bathroom was really tight, lean your head against the shower from the toilet.

Summary: Overall very nice stay, very friendly place with a great chef and views!

Positive: Views were absolutely stunning, room was perfect size for two & the bed was comfy. We did not have a balcony but were able to open windows & sit in the alcove. The hotel is beautiful & cut into the stone wall & the staff were accommodating & lovely. Lots of stairs which we were ok with, private swimming deck with layback chairs & sup boards to use. Fantastic food, breakfast was great & dinner was so yummy!

Summary: My friend & I had a great time at Hotel Villa San Michele, lovely place to relax & unwind.

Negative: the room was a little dated, but it wasn’t an issue at all. still clean and tidy!

Positive: I loved everything about Hotel Villa San Michele. This is a family owned and run hotel and the pride in their business is evident. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the rooms are very comfortable. Being able to swim in the beautiful water every day was such a treat. The food was fresh, local and prepared to perfection!

Negative: It didn't bother me at all but I would say that you need to be able to walk up and down steps with relative ease. The hotel is located literally on the side of a cliff and consequently walking up and down steps is necessary to get everywhere. The wifi struggled a little but I think that's probably the location. I was able to do everything I needed.

Summary: The most relaxing part of my journey through Italy

Positive: Absolutely loved this hotel. Had heard about it for years and was lucky enough to get a a room for a few days. Could have stayed for weeks. Was so quiet, staff was so kind and the location was perfect. Hoping to come back again soon!

Negative: Property was off the main road so it was incredibly quiet. Felt like I was right in the water with the doors open. Was perfect for reading, swimming and having a true peaceful break

Summary: Was the perfect 2 days of sleep, sun and books. Staff and food were great. Hoping to come back soon!
